Hello readers! Before you start reading these posts, I would suggest taking a look at the Terminology page and the Resources page. The Terminology page is good because I will be using a lot of terms that are specific to the LGBTQ+ community and these posts will make a lot more sense if you get the gist of that. The Resources page will be helpful because some of the topics discussed in this blog may be upsetting or triggering, since it discusses topics like self-harm, suicide, drug use, and abuse. It also includes content for LGBTQ+ readers who want support, and straight/cis allies who want advice. Before each blog post with potentially upsetting content, I will have a short warning describing what kind of content it has, so you can read at your own discretion.
Some of the posts will have videos, which I found to be very interesting. Before each video, I give a brief description of what it includes. All information is cited/sourced, those that don't have a hyperlink will have an APA-style citation at the end such as (Clark, 2006). If you want to know more information about that source, visit the Resources page and click the button at the top which says "References List". That will include all full citations for academic work in my blog which are not hyperlinked.
I hope your journey on this blog is fruitful.
