This website has different resources set aside for different identities, links to organizations that can help, and a lot of information about being LGBTQ+ and mental health.

This website also has resources to help with the process of getting birth name/sex on legal documents legally changed and a blog.

LGBT National Senior Helpline: 1-888-234-7243

This website also has a chatting function, if calling is not possible or preferable. It has a number of useful resources, such as a glossary, a FAQ section, book/movie lists, and info on self-harm prevention. It also has an "Escape" button so you can quickly leave the site if needed.

This website has multiple functions you can use to speak to a trained professional, anytime. It's a national organization dedicated to preventing suicide and self harm in the LGBTQ+ community. It also offers trainings for allies, and offers volunteer/advocacy groups to do community work/target legislation.

A downloadable document which guides allies through how to talk about LGBTQ+ topics in an informed and respectful way.

Basic tips about how to be a good ally. At the bottom of the page there is a link to the full report, which is available in PDF form.

It Gets Better Project

Website

A project which collects the stories of LGBTQ+ individuals who have struggled and overcome. Most of these are available as videos. You can also sign the pledge to commit to making the world a more safe and inclusive place for LGBTQ+ people.
